Iota Gamma Chapter

The Iota Gamma chapter of Theta Tau was founded May 22, 1999 at the University of Cincinnati. We have 60+ active members and over 500 lifetime members. As the University of Cincinnati's only co-ed professional and social engineering fraternity, the Iota Gamma chapter of Theta Tau strives for success in our brothers: professionally, academically, and socially.

Our Committees

Professional Development

The Professional Development committee is responsible for maintaining a high standard of professional interest among its members through planning and executing professional and academic activities. Some of the events hosted by this committee are Understanding Finances, Alumni Panel, Resume Review, etc.

Community Service

The Community Service committee is responsible for planning and leading community service and philanthropic events. Some of the events hosted by this committee are Tikkun Farms, Rock the Block, Shoe Drive, etc.

Brotherhood

The Brotherhood committee is responsible for helping the chapter unite in a fraternal bond of fellowship. This committee plans social events and intramurals. Some of the events hosted by this committee are Intramural sports, holiday parties, etc.

Rush

The Rush committee creates our Rush and Recruitment events starting with Rush week and lasts until bids are extended (2-3 weeks). All Rush information can be found on the Rush tab.

Special Events

The Special Events Committee plans all of our large events, including Founder's Day, Semi-Formal, Formal, and Retreat.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The DEI committee is devoted to bringing cultural and ethical exposure to the chapter to ensure the chapter is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Some of the events hosted by this committee are food festivals, different informational events, connecting with brothers events, etc.

Fundraising

The Fundraising committee develops and executes fundraising events to meet our goals. One of Fundraising's events is our semi-annual Euchre night.

Health and Safety

The Health and Safety Committee is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all our members. They uphold both local and national bylaws to maintain a secure environment for the chapter.

Marketing

The Marketing committee markets our chapter to both members and non-members through social media, flyers, and clothing.

Relations

The Relations committee maintains and develops connections with alumni, campus organizations, and other chapters for networking and future events.
